Hope you don't mind me starting another topic. don't think this would fit with the Pirahna thread.... I'll just put the next bunch of models in this thread.

The Ajax escort destroyer, model started out as the WC3/4 destroyer. No glow points yet, I want to fix all the problems before I have to re-enter the points for the umpteenth time.

Approx 500m long equiped with light anti-cap ship weaponary and multiple anti-fighter/bomber defenses. Btw, what was the command to force the turrets to fire all barrels at once?

To be honest with you, it was ready for release.  I just switched the textures to DSS and got rid of loded textures, saved about 2.5 MB on disk. It does look a lot better now with the new turret positioning, looked like a porcupine  before LOL.

Next to finished I think will be the bearcat 2.... (I'll do fighter-capital-fighter to keep a bit of variety...)

The bearcat 2 was ready for release, about a year ago, and after a couple hours of reapply DSS style textures and redoing the cockpit, heres the Bearcat Mk 2.  I still need to do some clean up work on it. I loved the original model too much,  I didn't want to make any really big changes to it, mostly tail rudders, redid the engine system area, added a cockpit and smoothed some of the surfaces.

As you can see in the last pic... this is what happens when the glowmaps aren't in-synch with the base texture. I need to rebake the lighting...
Yup the D-Day stripes are there
