Hello,

im a new noob in this section and a little B5 fan. My english is very bad, sorry (german is better for me ;-) ).
My problem: i should like to fly the big ships, like the large shadow-ships. Is this possible?
By the way, give it a shadow-campain?

Maybe is it a noob-question, but i can't find anything option in the game and the forum search-function tell me: "You are not allowed to search for posts in this forum." So i hope someone can help me.

you can fly the fighter and the scout... if you mean flying the battlecrabs, that's not possible - even if (maybe there is a way I don't know) their beams are on turret so that they are not playercontolable

No there is none... yet. BHX which is supposed to be release in the summer of this year is a campaign in which you will be able to fight with the race you like against another race.... that would come close to what you want...

but if you want a fine storyline campaign you may try learning to use FRED and try to create it yourself - it is really simple and I might help during learning to get a grip with FRED (when you start it might be confusing but it is very simple - belive me)
and don't worry I could give you that pieces of adive in english and german...

It is technically possible to craft missions in which the player flies a capship but they are likely to be pretty boring as the player doesn't control the weapons and there is a certain issue with the HUD that makes it necessary to make the ship invulnerable to avoid crashes.

I play this game for the first time. The quality of this open source project is very impress. But to create a shadow campain i haven't enough time and knowlege, i think.

I believe that both are flyable. As said earlier BHX will let you fly as the Shadows when it's released some time in the summer

Actually, Orph3u5, has given some pretty good advice.  Designing missions, which I find not quite as simple as he described, is as much fun as playing a mission.  It also gives you the freedom to create or re-create an episode of B5 and have it turn out the way that you like.  You become the story teller.  And there's nothing quite like having it come together.

EA Warlock or Shadow Warlock (I've heard some other mod calling the Battlecrab "Warlock" for any reason)...
with the Battlecrab it could be no problem .. You will just have to change that in the modelling programm (as far as I understood it)

with an EA Warlock... the same but what are the main guns of an EA Warlock?

Those beams are so big even players with "Parkinson's Aim" would be able to hit a fighter at range.  And probably a whole lot more.
