My first render whit a beam in it ripping a Hyperion apart

 

Tell me what can i improve, like the beam how can i let it glow abit? sugestions?

I never did see B5, so I ain't no expert, but I'll assume that you want the beam to look more like the ones in freespace, right?

Minbari beams are a greenish-yellow color.    Minbari beams look nothing like Freespace beams. Need I say more?

I use photoshop, now tell me how to get a nice FS2 like beam

Also, can you move the camera out as opposed to zooming out, it looks better.

Great pic though, even though I've never really watched B5

Talk to DC, he has a fairly easy way of doing it, and they look pretty good...
