Noob question about Sol:A History
Hello:

Is there a patch around somewhere that enables SOL a history to be played with SCP? I am talking about easy to use patch here (I don't understand anything about tbl.file posted in the other thread), Can you guys teach me how to make Sol a history compatitable? I have the lastest inferno CVS build, mediaVPS, and inferno + all patches installed.

Re: Noob question about Sol:A History
the short answer is not until Shadow uploads it. However, if you have updated tables, you can play it.

I live on a University campus and I have lightspeed internet, and presumably I can get the file hosted (I know a bunch of computer science majors), I wonder if I can help.

Re: Noob question about Sol:A History
Shadow has also got an update for his Inferno R1/SCP update he has to upload as well, or so he told me in april.

The problem is not hosting but the fact he has 56k and has to pay for uploads currently, so it's a problem getting the large files for Inferno SCP Shadow Patch mark2  and Sol A: History update patch up to the internet. You can see in Inferno thread where I asked him about this.

Currently, the table files have been fixed, shadow posted them in the other thread, I have them, anyone needs them just pm me, or get them from the links in the other thread.

but theres other issues : mostly to do with needing more up to date graphics for the planets (some are missing and some look bad) and some other things, Shadow says he's fixed these already but he needs to still upload them.

To sum up, currently in order to get S:AH running you need : Multimod system in use, secondrylist in the mod.ini pointing to Freespace Port, InfernoR1+SCP Patch+ShadowsUpdate, and the mediavps. On top of that, you need the Fixed tables from Shadow in your SAH/data/tables directory.
