Ma come faccio esattamente a moddare? Non chiedo chissà che, basta cambiare alcune caratteristiche delle navi.Come fare?

Qualcuno di voi conosce la serie per Playstation Colony Wars? Perchè qualcuno non prova a convertilra per FS2?

Avete cominciato a contare tutti gli abbattimenti nelle simulazioni di volo?
Ho visto i miei dati salvati in Colony Wars 3,Ace Combat 3,4 e 5 e ho piacevolmente notato di avere 32107 abbattimenti confermati. Vedrò poi con gli altri giochi...

Modeling- most people use either a paid for modeling program, or the popular TrueSpace program. Check in the HLP Modding forum or HLP Art, to find links for TrueSpace. Hope this helps a bit.

FS2 doesn't work!
I have installed Inferno and played it,but when I've uninstalled it I couldn't play the normal FS2 anymore.I can't open FRED too,it searches <vesuvius.pof> and doesn't find it.Now I can play only Inferno.
Someone please help me!

Sounds like you've still got the -mod Inferno enabled on the launcher/Fred perhaps LGM?

Let me explain everything.
First,even without Inferno,I couldn't listen the mainhall sound in the normal mode.I've played with the Neo Terra campaign,that required the raynor model i don't have. I have put the INF main file on the FS2 folder,and since that moment there is only Inferno.Only.Put the INF Main in another folder,and the CPU doens't find the <vesuvius.pof>.FRED works only with the Inferno models.And that's not all:the Inferno ships had no weapons(problem I've solved about yesterday).
I don't know what to do,if reinstalling the game or uninstalling it and then installing again.Inferno is beautiful,okay,but with only 15 missions in the 1st chapter I don't have so much to do.My created campaign also requires the normal mode.I don't know what LGM means,but I think that what Flipside said is true.

Is the launcher confugured tyo use a mod which isnt there anymore? That could sometimes cause tabular conflicts..

As far as Fred is concerned at least, iirc, it doesn't use the Launchers -Mod setting. Check your shortcut to Fred and make sure it hasn't got -mod Inferno or anything at the end.

Yeah, if you drop the file into the main folder, it starts to take over the universe, I'm not sure why you are getting the Vesuvius model missing though, maybe someone from Inferno can help here?

umm did you remove just the inferno mod from there?? Cuz i played Inferno then ripped it out and all worked fine. oh wait where exactely did u install Infermo?

Follow the instructions here. Just don't actually install FS2_Open and you'll have a clean retail install.

Karajorma I have already installed FS Open thanks to your FAQ yesterday.
(The Satis and the Hecate are pretty ugly however,and the game sometimes become slow,expecially when firing beams).With FS Open the problem seems to be resolved,the main campaign is playable,but FRED can't open old missions anymore.My campaign contained about 30 missions,losing them is a pity.
I don't know,I'll try to check the shortcuts and solve the problem as you all said.Thanks for pay attention on my problem.

I have installed Inferno in the main FS2 folder.It works properly(but not with FS Open)and no bugs are reported.
One more thing I don't understand:FS Open is the only way to enhance the graphic quality?Mods like Inferno require the old 99 graphic?How to make my old created missions playable with FS Open?

There's no reason why you'd have to. I can already see several possible solutions for your problem but I haven't been watching the thread closely enough to pick the correct one for you. So if you'll answer my questions I'll be more than happy to tell you what to do

1) Have you followed the instructions in my guide exactly? Inferno, the media VPs and any other mods you have installed should be in their own folders. Your FS2 folder should look like this.



(except without the rar file, with folders for Inferno and your other mods and maybe with a different name for FS2_Open).

If you have any differences from that report them now.

2) Do your missions require Inferno to run on or were they designed for FS2/some other mod?
