Anyone got any idea where I can find textures for skyboxes and skyspheres. Ideally for different weather patterns and/or atmospheres? Perhaps there is a landscape generator out there than can create them based on given parameters? The context is that I've got a collection of different alien planets and I'd like a cutscene showing ships flying over the landscape of each planet. Frankly I'm not an artist and I know very little about this kind of thing so I'm open to suggestions.

Terragen jumps to mind http://www.planetside.co.uk/terragen/ - although I'm not 100% sure about animating over it (I think you can, though).

Heh, I've been using the Vue series for years to do my skyboxes and terrains, very very nice piece of software
