Well, it's interesting at least.

Doesn't that cause you to also loose the game? Or is it a sort of mass-damage effect, whereby you only lose once but in doing so cause dozens of people to lose.

Presumably you only think of doing it when you are already losing so by mentioning it to other people you are causing them to lose too and thus winning.

Yep. The more ADD you are the more you win. Though you can also make others lose more (and therefore, relatively speaking, win) by eg leaving stuff around that will remind them of the game.
