Observation: stainless steal is very hard
I have spent the last week trying to drill a hole through a 1/8th inch thick peice of stainless steal, I have broken three bits includeing a cobalt bit I got spesificaly for this purpose, a number of dremil bits, and a dimond tiped grinder. all this for a 1/8th inch hole in a 1/8th inch thick pece of metal, when I make my hordes of flesh eating robots they will be made out of this stuf

Try a tungsten carbide drill bit. If that doesn't do it, nothing short of diamond will.

Re: Observation: stainless steal is very hard
ive drilled 1/16" stainless and it was fairly easy. i think i was using carbide. you need to start with the smaller bit and work your way up, you cant just drill steel with the widest bit first you gotta progress up the index, widening the hole as you go. and dont force it, let the drill eat its own way through.

Re: Observation: stainless steal is very hard
Yup, drill a guide hole first, and use cutting fluid on the metal whilst you are drilling, anything to transfer the heat away from the drill bit. Be careful as well, SS causes a lot of 'swarf' (little bits of metal from drilling) and these can get into the grooves on the bit and ruin its cutting effectiveness :)

That's not dodgy.

I'm making a ring with three razor-blade tips poking out of it so I can gash peoples faces open when I punch them.

That's dodgy.

Keys.

Trust me. Keys innocently kept on the end of a piece of string can REALLY mess up someone's face if swung hard enough, and that keeps you out of range of a knife. Plus you can then use the string to strangle.

of course, if i get mugged, i'd probably just tell the person that stabbing me isn't worth the $5 in my pocket

A 7mm round will go through a 1/4 inch piece of steel.  Try that, just out of boredom.

Or before you pleasure anyone else, cum to think of it.

Or, for that matter, before punching someone in the face.
