Hello everybody,

It's been a while.  I was playing around with photoshop for old times sake and came out with something very generic that look like Deneb... So I thought I would post just to see what my old buddies think.  Especially Lightspeed, I can't wait to hear what imperfections he would like to point out.

dude! Long time no see. How's things up with you?

And whoa....thats just awesome. Captures Deneb very, very nicely...and the floating Orion is an excellent addition.

Some comments, though: the shadow especially. Shouldn't the shadow be covering half the globe, from pole to pole (or at least, all of one pole if the tilt is different)  as opposed to just a section of the planet?

Yes long time indeed!  I've been absolutely fine...  Everything is great!   Did you ever do those missions for lightspeed?

Thanks for the comment, yeah I thought that myself...  The star is a white giant so I thought the less shadow the better... or that's my excuse anyway

Looks pretty good, though it took me a few mins to see the Orion, could possibly do with some lights on the side?

Hey Flipside!  Thanks for the welcome, it means after my behavior in my last religion thread.  I probably acted irrationally towards you and others... I know for sure Bob, maybe Kazan, and I'm sorry. (I'm still very religous, btw...  indeed I found what I was looking for and very much happy.)

Anyway...
I'm not really here to stay, just visiting and probably jump in every now and then.  Thanks for the comment... Lights? No, that's that dead stationary Orion after the Great War with the hole in the side... although it's very hard to see.  I made this at a very HIGH resolution and it looked bigger before I resized the picture.
