Has anyone got anything explaining some of the keybindings in FS2?
I get what most of them do, but what is the difference between relative and absolute throttle? What does Glide do? What does the thrust up/left/right/down do? I tried using them and they do nothing..

Anyone got a link to some information?

Thrust up/left/right/down work, but only shivan fighters can use them. :p In other words, GTVA ships have 0 mps maximum speed on the x and y axis.

Glide turns on the ability to strafe. Once you've set a key for it you can press that key and keep traveling in one direction while shooting in another one.

Of course you have to have a ship which supports this and nothing in the retail campaign does so either you hack the tables or wait for a 3rd party campaign which does to come out.
