Just curious. It's a conversation I had with my friends over dinner a while back. Figured I'd get some statistics.

I've been in a discussion about this in one other forum and the common understanding there became that women are more likely to scrunch because they need more volume with the wipe, so as not to wet their fingers in possible urine. As men do not have that problem, they are more likely to fold. But it's not a universal rule.

When I was a little boy I used to scrunch, because I learned that from my mother when she still wiped my butt, but eventually I learned the superior technique of folding.

I'm not going to tell anything about what ladies do in the bathroom   We certainly don't talk about poo poo issue while having a meal together

Not sure the content in first paragraph is true.  For most moms, they tend to scrunch more often when they have to wipe their baby's bottoms.  It's quite chanlleging when cleaning the little bottoms, and I think scruncing is faster than folding to get a nice think layer.
