anyway back to the subject at hand, beck tends to have over blown oppinions on subjects and lets them loose in the most taktless manner he posably can, generaly he is glad no one takes him seriously. he has said a number of times we should nuke Iran/Iraq/N.Korea/ect but it's usualy in the context of a very round about sort of sarcasm, you have to listen to his show a lot to get that he isn't truely being serious, and it's very easy to misrepresent or misquote him to make him seem like a homocidal maniac, and he doesn't realy care.
there are few people I know of who can make a joke brutaliseing my side of an argument in such a way that, even though it doesn't change my mind, I can't help but laugh at the way he put it.
a good example of his sort of humor I can just vaugely remember, there was this girl who was killed by her stepfather for some reason, he goes into this long detailed account of how and why she was killed, of her last moments, then he starts talking about her best frend and how they would talk about the hopes and dreams and how the girl would spend her lunch money to feed her freind, her only frend, when her freind lost it or something, and just when you'r feeling sickened by her death at the hands of some lowlife and a tear starts to form in your eye, just when you think 'my god that is just so horable!' and there is a long silence... and then in a upbeat tone "this half hour of the program is brougt to you by mikes pants! ..."ect.
it's just such a 'OH MY GOD YOU ARE SO ****ING HEARTLESS!' moment that you can't breath you are laughing so hard.
and there was the good old 'have a happy hanuquansmas'
