EDIT: Actually, I think one saint proved that God existed. He said stuff like " what created the Earth" then something like "what created the event that casued the thing that created the earth?" then "what created the Big Bang that caused the thing that created the Earth?" and he kept doing that until the only thing that could create the thing was an omni-potent/sciente deity.

We can't help if they  interpreted the wrong information, or screwed up the information trying to make something out of it. These crazy people either know very little about Christian religion, or something happend in their life that made them change their ways or look at something in a crazy way.

I share those Roman Catholic beliefs, but I don't think you need to follow them unless you're Roman Catholic (if you're gay, Catholicism probably isn't for you...but there are plenty of other choices).

Of course, I think all humans should abide by a moral standard of some sorts. Although this is VERY hard to define, I think fundamentalists have pretty much broken it (either terrorists, Christian fundies going too far as seen here, etc.).
