I loved the first wave of Bionicle. It stayed pretty awesome up through the Bohrok and Toa Nuva, but then it just kinda went downhill.

I never really saw the attraction of Bionicle, although it does have a large fan following.

There are some good sets coming this summer. Space Police has made a comeback after 17 years, and the flagship Technic set for 2009 looks pretty good, much better than what we had last year.

what's an Icelus? Anyway, I have a ton of pieces but they're from various models I had back in the day so the colors are all mismatched like that. I made a Ravana, a Sath (it didn't look that great), and a Perseus like that back in the day but never took pics of those.

I don't really remember how long it took. I started off with the front part of an X-Wing set and then started adding on pieces. It probably took a week, maybe more. And by sheer accident I made it such that it could come apart in the middle pretty easily so it could blow up like in the game. <_<
