I'm having a problem with Derelict.  Whenever I try to play the mission after Code Of Honor, the game crashes and I get this error message.  The previous missions work fine.

I'm running 3.6.7 and it's .VPs.  Anyone know how to fix this?

Go to the SCP forum/recent builds subforum and download 3.6.9 RC 3.

You'll also need OpenAL if you don't already have it installed.


(Yet another problem that should hopefully vanish once 3.6.9 becomes the latest officially released build )

It's working now.  Thanks a lot.       I have another question.  What folder are Lightspeed's nebulas supposed to go in?  I downloaded them but they aren't showing up in the game.  Black space is boring.

Put them in another folder within FreeSpace2 (example: C:\FreeSpace2\Nebulas) and then make Derelict point to them through SecondaryList in its Mod.ini. So within C:\FreeSpace2\Derelict\Mod.ini (or similar MOD folder) you will have a line telling something like that:

SecondaryList = Nebulas,mediavps;
(mediavps is the name of the folder where you have copied the SCP enhaced media vps).

If nebulas are inside a vp you have finished. If they aren't, copy all the image files inside C:\FreeSpace2\Nebulas\data\effects (you'll have to create that folders).

You can pretty much miss out the primarylist line entirely and still have that work.

Apart from that, it's spot on.
