Just went skydiving for the first time on Saturday.  Pretty much the most fun thing I've ever done.   It was a 9,000 foot freefall, 5,000 foot parachute!

Yeah the bill is a bit scary.  But if you get a license (which I'm planning to do) you can jump any time for about 20 USD.

20 bucks, not bad.  About 1/10th of what I paid to go this weekend!

I done a freefall (three over a weekend actually) at biggin hill in junem just over £300, but i done one back in 2002 but that was just static line, I gotta say, i am very tempted to make this a monthly thing, If not for the financial commitment to stuff like food etc......

My opinion on sky-diving: Why would someone want to jump from a perfectly working plane?

On the other hand, wing suit diving could be kinda kick-ass thing to do...


Anyway I'd rather spend my money on flying (provided that I had some spare money in my hands.

Yeah wingsuits look really cool and pretty fun, but they're death traps!  I think your chances of surviving statistically go way way down.  In the US, it's illegal to do a wingsuit jump unless you've already done 500 solo jumps in your career!  Still, it is cool when they attach rockets to their feet and fly almost horizontal...
