i dont smoke, but with my level of mental instability it would probibly be better if i hastened my death. if somoking has done anything its to increase the genetic immunity to carcinagens. i know this guy hes been smoking for 60 years, used to install asbestos, drinks like a fish, and he was in nam. yet hes managed to live to his 70s.

Correlation != causality.

i know that but it doesnt men corelation is totally meaningless.
I can no longer sit back and allow communist infiltration, communist indoctrination, communist subversion, and the international communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.

It's worse than meaningless - it's misleading......

it can be. but something that corelates still factors into the phenomenon being observed.

Well, we would get more emissions-efficent ships, and fewer oil tankers, if we had serious piracy problems.

Actually, come to think of it, we do still have serious piracy problems in parts of the world, mainly areas of the Middle East and Southeast Asia. The Aussies have routinely fitted heavy machineguns to their warships for more then two generations for that very reason. Speedboats are tough to hit with 5" main battery fire.

They're not proper pirates, though.  No cutlasses.
