Why does everyone hate Vasudans? I don't know anyone who actually likes Vasudans at all but Raa (if he even does). To all of you who hate Vasudans, :headz:!

What? Vasudan racis- er... specism on these boards! Ye Gods!!

That's it, i'm calling the National Association for the Advancement of Fish-wuvving Vasudans! That's right, the goddamn NAAFV!! I call for an end to this discrimination that has befallen our scaley brothers and sis- uh... brothers, for I have a dream that they should not be judged by the colour of their skales, but by the type of fish they wuv. For, indeed, are we not all fish-wuvvers are heart? When pricked, do we not all... wuv... fish?

Vasudans are quite cool, even if they are a bit superstitious. What I don't like is how so few ship models are created for them, compared to Shivan models and especially Terran models.

Models for species

Terrans: 80+
Shivans: ~50 or 60
Vasudans: ~45
Ancients: 20
Nightmares: 4

These are totally eduated guesses on my part, do not expect them to be exact. I'm including in here models from retail, Hades Combine, Inferno, and Nukemod.

Well, Vasudans are boring.

Albeit I'd note that I think I must have made a good 30-40+ Terran models in my time....... so those values definately aren't exact :D

Your poll seems to disagree with that observation.

Love Vasudans.  Still thinking I'll produce a no-mod mini-campaign about them after other projects are completed.

Vasudans rule. The campaign I used to be working on had the player as a Vasudan.

As for why there aren't more Vasudan ships, maybe it's just harder to make them. I would really like to see high poly versions of the Typhon and Hatshepsut though.

Vasudan ships are hard to design! They have non-human architecture!

What's this about hating vasudans?

All of the campaigns I'm making myself feature a Vasudan as the player. :wtf:

Yeah, Vasudans are class. I love that mission in FS2 where you're scrambled to protect a convoy with a Sobek escort under fire from a Moloch and a couple of Nahema wings and when the Sobek goes down it's with the line;

"Win the day or we dire for nothing!".

Makes me cry.

And of course then there's the extra's video of the Zod opening a 100% natural can of whoop ass on the human.
Watch out for the Guns! They'll getcha!

I think that was Exodus. Can't remember now.

That video was awesome, me agrees. *watches Vasudan grab Terran by the head, raise him up and literally crush his face to the floor*

The mission was, yes cobra, Exodus (Sp?). Muliplayer mission. Hard as hell. The godam lambda transports always die. Man can that mission go horribly wrong... comical at times.

I like vasudans, but id side with my race over theirs tho. Naturally. Tho im kinda in the 'were both = races' feeling (honoring the GTVA), except that were slightly better :D.
