Wanna make FS3?

Well, according to this you can. You might just be able too. Barring the IP and all that ****, of course. But still, this opens another door for all you apsiring game makers out there.

And, yeah, I know this is gaming related or whatever. I thought more people would see this if I put it into General, so if a mod wants to move it, go for it.

I absolutely refuse to put FS3 on the 360! Man, that would be horrible.....


But what about the rights to it? To call it "FS3", you'd need some several hundred thousand $$ franchise rights...

Umm, FYI, with this new XNA thing, you can make games for PC as well, nost just the 360.

I reckon that FS or any SCP clones with different names should be kept pureblood PC, I dont like the idea of Live playing console tards becoming overnight FS fans and corrupting the purity of our society.  :(

I would expect the main criticism of the idea to be down to using C#, to be honest.  AFAIK it's scarcely any better than Java for this type of programming (and less portable too, AFAIK, due to being proprietary).
