Hello HLP forum users,
For the past few days I've been hooked on Freespace 2. I absolutely loved the original, and now #2 has rocketed up to the status as one of my favorite games of all time.

However, I have a problem. I EAT BABIES.

No, actually, the problem is, I alt-tabbed out of the game, which it DOES NOT like, and it always BSOD's me when I go back into it with something about my NV4_minidisp.dll or something similar, which I know is a NVidia driver file. Not sure why it causes this error with Freespace 2.

ANYWAYS, this time it decided to really hurt me. It deleted my account, right in the middle of the game! Now it's replaced by the default account (Shivan, from his install pack) and it's WAY behind where I was in the campaign. If there's anyway to unlock every mission in the game, or if somebody could send me a save file, I'd really appreciate it.

I had just beaten the mission where you're in the nebula and the second Shivan super-destroyer emerged and killed the Psamtik.

I think you can add "_allslev" to the command line and that will open up all the levels, or got to the tech room and press Ctrl/Shift and S.

Not working... anything else? Perhaps you typed the command wrong? Nothing is coming up in the mission simulator beyond what is already unlocked. I put the _allslev in the "Custom flags" part of the SCP Launcher.

Either should function:

i) write -allslev to the command line and start the game
ii) with new builds go to tech room, select mission simulator (top left), select campaign missions (lower left) and press CTRL + SHIFT + S

In any case the missions should then be flyable in the tech rooms mission simulator

If you tell me where you were in the campaign I'll build you a campaign file that will let you play the campaign properly rather than the individual missions.

Playing from the techroom doesn't gain you any points so you won't increase in rank, gain medals or see the cutscenes.

That nvidia alt-tab BSOD is a known problem. I was never able to fix it (until I changed video cards) but I don't think everyone gets it.
