Fun with uninvited guests
Quote
Kazan: i get up this morning.. the fiancee is at work - i get showered and all that stuff
Kazan: then i come down stairs carrying my clothes and the suit case because we're going out today
Kazan: some drunken dumbass is on our couch asleep
Kazan: i run up stairs get my bo staff and toss some other clothes on and give the guy a rude awakening
karajorma: What the hell?
Kazan: aye
karajorma: How did he get in?
Kazan: didn't lock the front door
Kazan: we never had to before
karajorma: I see
Kazan: crime in this part of town is nill
Kazan: he woke up with a bo staff two inches from his face

and by "rude awakening" i mean "bo staff end two inches from nose, kazan goes all drill instructor tone of voice"

Didn't know you were into martial arts. What city and state do you live in?
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside

Re: Fun with uninvited guests
Ames, IA

I currently hold the rank of Green (Decided)* under Grandmaster Yong Chin Pak, I haven't been able to train for several years, but hopefully in the spring when I resume my college studies I will be able to resume my martial arts studies as well

Grandmaster Pak teaches World TaeKwonDo Federation (http://www.wtf.org/ - $DIETY i love that address) style Tae Kwon Do, and holds a 7th Dan in TKD, 6th Dan in Hapkido and 6th Dan in Judo (as of two years ago.. he may have received promotions that I haven't heard about)

* A note on ranks under Master Pak - each belt level prior to the Dans has three versions - the basic rank, just the plain color belt received upon passing a the progression testing, a "recommended" version with one stripe on each end of the next belt color (so for Green Recs it's green with a blue stripe) - this signifies moderate proficiency, and a "decided" version of the belt with two stripes at each end which signifies high proficiency - all my ranks (yellow, orange, green) thus far have been Decided ranks.   Example: http://www.deepbluebettas.com/TKD/Visitors-10_15_2003-0006.jpg (I was joking around with some international guests.. we couldn't speak eachothers language, but we could understand each other through martial arts)
