Firstly, sorry if this is posted in the wrong area / forum / subsection, I have kind of jumped head long into this, hoping to get some sort result

Having recently moved to a country where I don’t know the language i jumped into some nostalgia computer games and found the free space series again. After playing Free space 2 to death i decided its well worth time i put some input back into the game.
So here’s my dilemma, i was wondering if you would be able to help my with the names of everything you think i might need to help with creating ships campaigns etc, I'm more than willing once I’m upto date to help others if they need extra hands.
I know FRED is basic, but there’s always outside programs i should look into 'buying', and I have the free time to learn them =)
Have to admit the work you do here blows my mind, and I’m only 2 pages into the Archive.
