Alright, basically I'm trying to install the
SlickPro Graphite theme on my SMF forum (1.1 RC3), and everything works fine except that upon installation the nav bar (Home, Help, Search, Profile etc) does not appear, along with the place where the news is supposed to go. Now the news feature I can live without, but the Nav Bar is essential for using the forum. Hell, when I switched on the theme, I couldn't get back to the Admin Panel to change it back unless I hit Back in my browser.
I looked around all the theme options, but could find nothing to switch the Nav Bar on, which if you think about it shouldn't ever be off anyway. Also, the demo page the guy set up for people to view the theme has both the nav bar and News, which obviously means something is wrong on my end and not in the theme itself.
So what I need is either someone cleverer than me to figure out what the problem is, or some kind soul to set it up on their own SMF forum and report back. Chop chop!
