You've made this nifty model in trueSpace 3.2, but it'd work much better if you could just put in a couple of edges here and there. Triangles work better, but in tS 3.2 it's all or none and you don't get to chose which way any non-flat quads get crossed.
Here's how to use the features tS 3.2 has to quickly triangulate a single 4 sided face.
1. Click the
Point Edit button and drag up to select
Faces.
2. Click the
face you want to triangulate.
3. Click the
Bevel button then hold the left button and drag upwards to increase the
bevel. (Just to the right of the Point Edit group, click and drag up to get to Bevel.)
4. Click the
Arrow button to deselect Bevel.
5. Click and drag to
Edges on the Point Edit button.
6. Click one short corner edge on the bevel that's NOT at a vertex you want the final edge connected to. Click the
Erase Vertices button on the
point nav panel. (right button, middle row) The edges will snap to a single diagonal one.
7. Click and select one of the other long edges, then shift-click the other long edge, then Erase Vertices. If it won't select the second long edge, click it then shift-click the first one you selected. tS 3.2 has some sort of order to edges and it will not let you shift-click "backwards".
Now you have a triangulated face exactly how you want.
That's one of the tricks I figured out back when trueSpace 3.2 was current, took me a while to rediscover it.

I'm getting tS 6.6 but I'll continue to do stuff with 3.2 to help out FS modders who are using it.
A Sticky for trueSpace 3.2 tips, tricks and techniques would be nice.
