Pluto Protester: Jesse Jackson
http://www.gather.com/viewArticle.jsp?articleId=281474976783257

"How many of those astronomers ever even been down to Pluto's 'hood?" Jackson asked, his voice rising above a chorus of "Amens" from supporters arrayed behind him. "When Pluto walks down the mean streets—he clears them out good."

Reporters asked Jackson whether he had actually visited Pluto's orbit, and he deferred to Sharpton, who conceded that the cause of the smallest planet was a stretch for them. "It's the end of the summer. Everybody's out of town—things are kinda slow."

Lol this guy is such an idiot but he always makes me laugh.   :pimp::yes:
"Your efforts to interdict me have failed, papacy. Pentagon, engage propaganda drive."
"Now, Protestant scum, you will see the power of this fully armed and operational Papal Station!"

Reporters questioned the two activists as to why it had taken them a weekend and two days to come to Pluto's defense, and Sharpton candidly admitted that the two men had struggled as to whether to add the downgraded planet to the long list of causes they have taken up around the world. The problem—very few words rhyme with "Pluto".

Oh that is almost too good for words :D

I'm.... astonished. I don't quite know what to think of this.  :eek2:
Spoon - I stand in awe by your flawless fredding. Truely, never before have I witnessed such magnificant display of beamz.
Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

I'm not sure whether or not Pluto should laugh or cry......
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside

I'm skeptical of this story. I can't find anything about it anywhere else.

I so want to see Pluto blow up right now.  Come on, someone blow it up!
In my world of sleepers, everything will be erased.

The mark of good satire is the real possiblity of it. And sadly, this is really possible.

Oooookay.....

I don't see why everyone is so up in arms about this. So what if Pluto is no longer a planet? So what if the old songs for the planets don't work anymore. Anyone who needs a song to remember nine names... I'm not even gonna say it.

This is the problem with humanity: it is now going against the laws of nature: the stupid creatures are the first to die in the wild, unfortunately, we are a humane society, and thus cannot get rid of our stupid people as we are supposed to..... :sigh:

So you would pefer that we live in a Fascistly controlled Darwinist society? Yes I agree that some things should be less heavily regulated to allow the weak to weed themselves out, but forcibly eliminating the inferior would be very problematic, because obviously, superioirity is a subjective judgement.

Re: Pluto Protester: Jesse Jackson
Hmm... people take stuff seriously on this forum. Much more seriously than I intended.

I am very sorry. I meant it lightly, but now that I reread my post I can see that that is not what it looks like. Once more, I apologize that I did not make it clear that it was a joke. I can delete the post if that is what people would prefer.
