Looks like the run up to S3 has begun. They've begun releasing the webisode series "The Resistance" on scifi.com. Looks like they'll be short, but they're going to release them twice a week until S3 starts.

That was surprisingly entertaining, even if it was only three and a half minutes long. Tyrol's beard is so cool.

That was good... though I'm not getting to it via the official pages, so I had to watch it on YouTube, and the voice quality wasn't the best of worlds, so I didn't quite comprehend all they spoke.

Chief Tyrol's beard makes him look like a real resistance fighter. Not a small resemblance to certain Fidel's beard...

It was cool to see some new scenes. You kinda get an impression of the life after the Cylon invasion.


On the other hand it was rather dissapointing. Nothing happened and it was way too short.


But I guess I'll watch the other ones anyway.

Which is quite odd since it's the exact same place they filmed the final 20 minutes of LDYB2, which quite obviously wasn't a soundstage.

It was good. I can't say I was too excited about the premise; at first it sounded like the webisodes were only going to be available on iTunes, so it's nice to see I was wrong about that...

However, the 3.5 minute format really lacks the ability to put together a very interesting story right from the start, because of the time constraints. I imagine that somewhere around the 3rd or 4th episode it'll get more interesting.

I hope O'Moore (sp?), Rymer and his mates have a decent ending planned for this series. I don't want it to be one of these shows that goes on forever until it's cancelled and then tries to wrap everything up in two episodes at the last minute.

...It's a set number of episodes, meaning that logic would dictate they've got an ending somewhat planned out.

When he said "I hope they have an ending planned for this series", I assumed that he meant the Resistance Webisode series as this is indeed the thread about said series, but it seems as though he meant it as BSG as a whole, to which I concluded he meant 'season' [another false conclusion, but I was already somewhat confused as that point].

It was just bad wording on his part, and misunderstanding what he was alluding to on my part, I am already fully aware of the distinction between 'series' and 'season'.
