Well INFA2 is supposed to be a lot bigger, right? And INFSCP needs people.

Bigger in some ways, and not in others.

Smaller in which ways?

Well I have less ships to develop this time and onlt a few new weapons, so that cuts the amount of time needed in those areas.

Hey all. As you know, I am very new to this Inferno forum.

So from what I remember\gather:
After Inferno R1 was released, they decided to scrap it and totally 'redo' it, and the storyline. This revision, R2\INF SCP, will not be part two, but a re release of part one, correct?

Are the campaigns ("Alliance", "Dreamcatcher" etc) are a continuation of the R1 storyline, or just campaigns using the R1 'engine' (so to speak) without any regard to the storyline?

Alliance, AFAIK, is within the "new" continuity (R2/INFSCP). I can't speak for Steadfast, but Dreamcatcher takes place after R1, in the old continuity. I tried to provide a decent backstory (see the Temp Dreamcatcher thread in this forum), covering the holes that R1 left. Heck, after Dreamcatcher, I may even make a Third Shivan War campaign telling that story a little more firsthand. Some of those battles I made up I'd really like to actually see... though the Battle of Delta Serpentis III (important note: not Inferno canon) definitely goes under the BoE category.  :D

Steadfast doesn't follow INFR1's storyline. The GTVA and the EA had a peaceful re-unification (though maintaining separated the alliances). The classic rebellion takes place in Altair (when the Zods transferred their shipyards and xenobiologists left archeologic Ancient sites, Altair became a backwater system with a big scrapyard inside, like the AMARC, where poor people are employed in frightening conditions to mothball old ships).

INFASA: Inferno Alliance Standalone, a modification of the first INFA with a better campaign (;7) and storyline.

Fan-made expansions
Steadfast: An alternate history for INFR1 in which EA and GTVA have a peaceful reunion

Thats what i was looking for. Ty, it was very detailed. Though im pained to ask one more question. Prepare.

Got a link for the official campaigns and fan made expantions? I found the INF site, and that only had INF:R1 up for D\l.
I see links to INF:A and INF:SCP, and INF: Dreamcatcher in peoples siggies, but i lost the INF site, and dont see a link for the other campaigns.

That's because most of 'em are still in production, and not released yet. INFR1 and INF:A are the only released Inferno campaigns.

Your link is broken  :wtf: - looks like a capitalization error.  Why case sensitivity is an issue is beyond me.

Uh... you should see Steadast's site in my siggy and Mobius' and Edivad's ones.

I know... it's crappy... and I don't think that the links for the Stop font and the fanfiction works anymore.
Just tried. They don't work anymore :doubt: I'll have to fix it.
Can anybody suggest where to upload the fanfiction?

EDIT: site fixed. If anybody wants to read the fiction, he will have to PM me first so I can send the fiction.
