I downloaded everything posted in the sticky thread. I loaded it up with fs2_open 3.6.9 and the latest patched media vps. Except I can't play the main campaign. I only see Freespace 2 main campaign and silent threat. Silent threat seems to work ok. What can I do???

More information please.  Which sticky thread?  Which files, specifically, did you download?  Can you post a screenshot of your mod folder?

Ok, I downloaded the files in the 3.0.3 release sticky thread here are the files in my mod folder right now:
fsport3_0_3.vp
sparky_hi_fs1.vp
stu_fs1.vp
fsport-missions.vp

my exec is fs2_open_3_6_9.exe (RC7)

Media vps are the latest with these patches:
mp-710_models.vp
mp-710_effects.vp

not using adv_effects btw.

Launcher is pre-5.4

I select the mod folder fsport_3_0_3 in launcher and load the vps via this mod.ini:
[multimod]
SecondaryList = mediavps;

Also in the silent threat first mission, the ships appear with low quality textures, but maybe that's normal.

edit: Seems to work now. Models and textures still have low quality though...
