Observation: elections, oil wells, and falsified documents
September 8, 2004, CBS airs an extreemly critical story about Bush's National guard record, mear weeks before the election. a few days later it is reveiled that these documents are faked, for months, in fact to this day this is held up by conservitives as evedence of an active anti-conservitive conspericy in the media.

September 6, 2006, after years of stedaly riseing oil prices, a Chevron led oil cartell, with Statoil and Devon, discovers a HUGE oil well in the gulf of mexico, gas prices almost overnight are cut in half, Bush's approval rateing jumps 10 points from it's historic all time low. despite connections between the Bush administration and the oil industry, and a growing call for government action against oil companies, no aligations are made anyware in the media. further study of the feild reports sugest that very little is known about it and it might be a disapointment, and that it will be years before a drop of it is actualy going to be made available, yet oil prices had one of the most dramatic drops in American history the day of the anouncement, wich have maintained, and in fact improved to this day. This day, little over a month till the next election.

Interesting?

Very interesting how the media doesn't ask questions anymore. Standing order in this administration seems "Don't ask don't tell"
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside

The amount of oil will not be an issue. There is no infinate supply, but with new forms of energy availiable, and greater technological improvements, oil really won't be a concern. In 30 years it will be irrelevant.

Re: Observation: elections, oil wells, and falsified documents
honestly though, the only reason that it is going down is the end of summer and the fact that people were betting that hurricase would hurt production again which inflated the oil price. It is now the end of the hurricane season. Also all the damage from the hurricanes from last year is fixed meaning that production facilities are back up to 100% capacity.

I did hear that democrat politicians are pissed because they lost one of the nonsensical issues.
