 When i try to begin playing in Freespace 1 campaign i always get this error message.If i skip this error , after first mission brifing i can't mount any weapon on my fighter - there's simply NO any weapons at all ( at least i can't see it)
 Also i have 2 cursors in a time on the screen in-game cursor , and standard Windows cursor. And  - any movie must be displayed after i start main FS2? I'm only hear music, but see black screen on the monitor, 'till i press "escape" and then i see pilot select screen.
 Help me please - i really want to play in FS 1 campaign again. FS2 is good too, but i want to start from the  very beginning of the story.

Hmmm sounds more like a campaign problem than an SCP one, most likely something to do with the location of table files from the sound of it. I'll leave this here for now and see if anyone can help you

Upgrade from version 1.5 to version 1.9c.

IIRC that version featured an experimental build of mine which caused exactly that problem. (Unless I'm thinking of v1.6). Either way the upgrade is a good idea. v1.5 is a bit long in the tooth now.

 Ok- thanks for the advice.But how can i do this? I mean how can i upgrade my version from 1.5 to 1.9c? I need to download some type of patch? Or i need to download ~ 2 gb of main game? Maybe i just select wrong torrent to download ? But most ppl downloading exactly this version.
 Sorry - i'm really not very good with modding or any hi-tech game programming stuff.  If somewhere any topic in the forum about " how you can upgrade your version of game" - just gimme a link please, i'll try to understand.

 He-he.. i take your torrent from Torrentbox.com.
I need to download 2 updates, then  use update 1.5c/1.6 to 1.8: first, and after this use 1.8/1.9a/b to 1.9c:, am i right?

I believe so. I've not actually used the torrent myself.

 I can't download 1.8/1.9a/b to 1.9c: update from File front . For some reason downloading not started no matter how long i wait.
 Big update  (517 mb) downloaded fine, but this small update (47mb) i just can't get.
 Maybe i can download this update from another server?

 Ok- i just downloaded and mount all this updates, but  update to version 1.8 have some problems with mv_textures.vp and mv_adveffects.vp - i have decompression errors for this files.
 First time i downloading 1.8 pack from fileserver, second time from FTP belongs to one users of this forum.
 And- most sad , in Original Freespace Campaign nothing changes - i still can't mount any weapon to fighter... Any advices?

You can download the files that failed to extract from here. Just get them and then apply the 1.9c patch and you should be done.
