 :o  :nervous:

Thanks.

Hm, no rave reviews here... this one got a decent one:

This one seems pretty much the same, even the remote is exactly the same, but it appears to have the FM tuner too. Not necessary but I guess it'd be nice. *shrugs* But probably not worth the review this guy gave it: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16815325001  Not like I listen to the radio outside my car anyway.

I am a revolutionary.

Why not get everything in an All-In-Wonder card?

because the tunres on AIWs are ****ty

i dunno much about which HDTV tuners are good beyind the linux-only pcHDTV series, but in SDTV nothing beats a Hauppage PVR-500 dual tuner w/ hardware mpeg2 encoding

Re: WTB Computer TV Tuner Card, thoughts?
I was looking for a Digital TV PCI card a while back, but discovered that none... NONE! of the currently available ones support Windows 2000, Windows98SE or Linux!!! (Okay, some of them work in Linux but not because of manufacturer support...)

What's up with that?!

At some point, I realised that my 6600GT is a VIVO card, so I thought "Hey! I could just get a freeview box and plug that in!"
Unfortunately, I couldn't find a freeview box that comes with a Composite, Component, S-Video or VGA connectors, which are the inputs my 6600GT supports - All the *$&^ing freeview boxes use SCART!!!

But then I found I had an old video that has SCART inputs and Composite outs!

So I borrowed a freeview box, took the aerial, hooked that to the freeview box's RF in, then hooked that into the VCR's SCART, then hooked that into my 6600GT's composite.

It was totally not worth it.

Sooo... if anybody knows of a Digital TV card that works in Win2k, '98 and Linux, or a Freeview box with a composite/component/S-Video/VGA out, I'd be totally indebted if you'd tell me what, where and how I could get one!
