i want to make a load of utils for u guys out there, and i want to make them interface with each other, but i dont know what u people would want in a kit of this sort, so far i have a vp builder, if i can find some docs a AVI to MVE converter, ANI maker that converts files into the correct octree color group. A ship table editor, that will error check the table so that it is easier to find out problems, and for summoner and rf, a VPP maker, and as i dont play them games much i will need other sujestions... so please roll out ur ideas and the tools might become a reality

You know what would be interesting to have (but probably impossible to make): an .avi to .ani convertor.
With all the renderers and moviemakers in here it would be very useful if those rendered .avi files (or however you make them) could be converted to usable .ani-files for in the command Briefings.

An avi2ani maker would be cool. But if you have an avi file and you want to make it to an ani file its pretty simple. Extract the avi (use AVI Constructur for example). Then make sure that the extracted files have right names and that they are PCX files. Then just use anibuilder.

The problem is that most avi files are in 320x240 resolution while FS2 anis must be 440x200.

What I would like to see is that instead of anis we could have Divx avis in FS2 but for that we need the source code. A Avi2Mve converter would be cool or just an Mvemaker program.
