(Original model and textures by CHRONOCIDAL GUY)

I got the USS Sovereign working in-game, and I'm currently working on others. Sorry for the last shot, I didn't have time to get a different angle because the Sovereign absolutely DESTROYED the Orion. Oh, and the quantum torpedoes work, too. Don't know about the photon spreads though. Didn't see 'em fire.

Don't ask me for the USS Constitution, the model is FUBAR'd.

To consider the Earth as the only populated world in infinite space is as absurd as to assert that in an entire field of millet, only one grain will grow. - Metrodorus of Chios
I wept. Mysterious forces beyond my ken had reached into my beautiful mission and energized its pilots with inhuman bomb-firing abilities. I could only imagine the GTVA warriors giving a mighty KIAAIIIIIII shout as they worked their triggers, their biceps bulging with sinew after years of Ivan Drago-esque steroid therapy and weight training. - General Battuta

The USS Galaxy:
Model by Scotchy, textures 'n stuff by Omniscaper

The phasers are nonworking, however. the sound of the phasers are heard, but nothing happens. Only the photons fire correctly. Also, the shields are working, but they can't stop beams.

yeah i know, nobeampierce. i'm not concerned with weapons at the moment, i'm just worried about getting the damn ships in there.

:eek2: Have you performed the obligatory Sathanas obliteration yet?

No, but I can tell you that the Sathanas will COMPLETELY OBLITERATE the Sovereign with its beams. ;)

Star Trek captains seem to have slightly more brains that Command does in FS. So, don't attack from the front ;) And a slight tip: The ships look great, but I think the screenshots would do them a lot more justice with a lower ambient setting. All the lights and other detail in the textures is almost blotted out by the sheer volume of light.

Actually, I don't have the mediavp's enabled for the Star Trek MOD. ;)

Wtf, is 3.6.9 more lenient on model checks? This didn't work before:

That's unturreted and subsystemless, by the way. If anyone can do the subsystems and turrets for me, I'd be happy. :) If you're interested, PM me. :)

-Saucer section penetrated! Serious damage to all decks!

-How fascinating! It is as if our natural laws were suspended in this dimension. Our plates never even registered the penetrating energy.

I'm a lucky bastard, I haven't had to do any model work. :D

Looks like I'm missing a table file for the Starbase. Anyone know where I can get it?

OK, I have the Defiant working, and only the Galaxy's aft phasers (along with the torpedo launcher) will fire. Still can't find a Starbase table, and I would appreciate it if someone can add some environment alphas for the ships. :)

Starbase works, and Earth works... sorta. No clouds. :(

Also I found out that RC7 and 7dot9 don't give a **** about models and/or textures, because i didn't get an error that the earth model had too many textures.

An idea that may work, depending on if multipart turrets can be made this way...

For ships with those fire from any point phaser rings, with a round saucer, how about a real thin and large diameter turret with a barrel so stubby it's practically invisible?

If the turret model can't intersect the main model, make the turret base a big ring that fits around the model right where the phaser ring is.

Cobra: Make a second sub model sphere around the Earth, and paint semi-transparant clouds on it. Then make it rotate around the model's axis - you might have some believable clouds there :) To make it more believable, add several layers of the clouds and make them rotate as well :)

Don't make them rotate.

To make the movement even noticeable, it would practically require winds blowing at 10 km/s or something like that (minimum).

So I would say it's needless to make the clouds move at all in this case... :p

Heh, I've used almost every ship. The only remaining ships are the Jem'hadar fighter and the Danube.
