To your question, of course I have installed OpenGL.
I did use Gen. Software, but I switched to hardware a few minutes ago and now it works !

Okay, almost through now. Last problem is that one with the german text. Any ideas, that do not include editing the registry and " ****ing up Windows beyond repair " ? (thanks to karajorma for this cute formulation, it really fits. I know that because I did brake Windows some ago using that technique)

You have to edit your registry... thats the only option.

Could someone give me a step by step guide, starting with where to download "regedit" or is this part of Windows ? I normaly use MacOS X !

Regedit is part of windows. If you look at my FAQ there's a little section on how to use it to add hacks for FS1 and FS2 Retail. Fortunately you don't have to do that with FS2_Open but it should give you an idea what you're trying to do.

Just one last question. Is it possible to play over the internet with FS2Open ?
If yes (I think it should be possible), how ? I did not get it to work.
