Yeah...when they said cancelled...they meant at the end of the season and not right now.  They usually make decisions like those waaay before the next season is set to commence.

From what we've hear from the producers...the Orii storyline will mostly be finished by the end of the season but I'm not sure if it will be finished completely.  They are planning one or two (or more) TV movies or miniseries to properly end the whole thing.

as far as i know theyr cutting it mid season, but they wanna finish the clifhanger so the next ep of SG is last.

Stupid annoying Daniel Jackson who we will never get rid of no matter how many times he dies will go whine to the Ancinets again and finally convince them to pwn the Ori once and for all. Not that I have watched any episodes from this season, but I think that's how it'll go.

IIRC the 1st movie will finish off the Ori and the 2nd will, for some reason beyond me, focus on time travel.

Am I the only one who was left confused by the gaping plot-hole in this episode?

The Asurans couldn't kill Ancients, yet they massacred the ones on Atlantis. And without any scenes showing them doing so.

It was one off-hand remark that let us know they actually had been Ancients (and not Asuran infiltrators) and they were dead.
