Too late Thunder, we're way ahead of you. There's a shop somewhenre in Fladers (thought it was Gent) that has put it's Easter stuff out in the shopping window to protest the very early arrival of all this X-mas stuff.

Since they change color so rapidly instead of smooth fading I'm guessing something similar could be done with Photoshops rendered lights...
