Plea for help: need more testers
Two of my three testers are rather, er, not-able-to-test-correctly, I have one left. I might be able to get by, but his e-mail address doesn't like me (I sorta have a solution, thought).

So I am opening up two positions for testers. It would be pretty very much a lot part time, mostly just playing a mission I send you every once in a while and sending feedback back like bugs, unbalancedness, and other stuff. I would like to have at the least a bit of experience with FRED (able to have an Idea of whats wrong with most problems) and average skill level at playing freespace.

You would be on the team for FS2DR, which you can find a link to the main website in my profile right here.

Fist come, first serve; first two qualified people get the job.

Re: Plea for help: need more testers
Perhaps HLP should think about having a proper testers guild, a la the Voice-actors guild.

People with free-time and the will to test missions and campaigns put their names and email adresses up on a list in a special thread of sub-forum, and then take them down when they no longer have the time or will to test.

Then, if you're a FRED'er who has something that needs testing, you just email a few of the people on the list asking if they're up for it. Simple as sausage. Frankly, it'd be a lot simpler and more efficient than having to depend on unreliable testers, or making impassioned pleas to the forum when you're days away from release of a 40-mission campaign.
