1)The number of intel entries is limited? The Species has a dimensions limit?

2)The tech-add-intel doesn't work. I first have to set a new intel default..but how?

3)There's something strange with the Steadfast model. Tough most turrets have their firepoints,ecc. When I play with it all subsystems appear to be located at the center of the ship. What should I do to fix this?

4)A warship can have more than six fighterbay paths?

#3 I had the same problem adding new turrets to an old ship. I actually had to returret the entire ship. :mad: I'm sure there must be a quicker way though

That would be caused by the fact that converting a pof to cob tends to put all of the lights in the centers of the vessel. The light-turret combination is how TS Cob -> pof conversions set up the boundaries of the object (So that you could, in theory, have objects with off-center rotations). You'd have to recenter the lights (If TS doesnt make you change the axis as well) and reconvert. Usually.

You have to recenter the axis as well. Otherwise rotating submodels look really weird in game

You can have as many as 10 $bayXX paths on a model, though I'd like a significant boost to this, to support the path restriction capabilities added to FRED.

Yes, species.tbl can have a maximum of 30 entries.  Any more than that will just be ignored.  It will be made dynamic with the new pilot file code however.

The Species has a dimensions limit?
Not sure exactly what you are referring to there.  If you mean the actual number of species, in species_defs.tbl, then no, there is no limit for that.  Or, not now at least.  It was made dynamic a few months ago, but the previous limit was 8, I think.

You can have as many as 10 $bayXX paths on a model, though I'd like a significant boost to this, to support the path restriction capabilities added to FRED.
It will undoubtedly be made dynamic post-3.6.9.  Most every limit that currently exists will go dynamic by the time 3.7 gets here.

30 entries in the Species tbl? They could be enough....See if you can improve the max_number...

The kb limit is actually in the parser, not really related to any particular tbl.  So the size limit for species.tbl would be the same as it is for ships.tbl.  This is also something that will go dynamic though, so there will not be any file size limits in 3.7.

The number of entries in species.tbl will go dynamic shortly after 3.6.9 gets released, so the only limit then will just be how much memory you have. :)
