I dunno, really, but if I was a cop and had to break someones door in, and he was then holding a gun-shaped object in his hand, I wouldn't take that many chances. Sure, I'd probably have given him a chance to drop "his" controller before I let one slip, but...

Since a game site is reporting this, I'm gona give the cops the benifit of a doubt. Because I'm thinking just like that case in GA were police shot in killed the 93 year old that was shooting at them was twisted by some people

This is a clear case of shooting without asking questions and for it the police officers should be charged with murder in my opinion. They are obviously woefully untrained to use firearms especially in a tense situation.
Stealing or not, they killed someone who should never have had a shot fired at them and should be tried accordingly.

I read in the paper he was to be  arrested 'cos he had jumped a fellow student and stolen the PS'.

Probably because when they shot its master it attacked them. Or they had ammo to burn. :p
