Does anyone have the .mp3 file for the credits music from Freespace 2?  I have been searching awhile and I'd appreciate if someone could help me.

I don't know about MP3 versions but Nix should be uploading the .ogg/FLAC reasonably soon.

Till then you can always get VPView (Check my FAQ's tool page) and extract it yourself. The file you're after is called FS2_Cinema2.wav and it lives in stu_fs2.vp

I think you mean warble_fs2, Kara. That's the one that contains all the music files.
Keep in mind, Metius, if you're planning on exporting that music to another compuer and/or MP3 Player, that these particular WAV files are encoded such that they can't be played normally. Your computer has had FS2 installed, and therefore has the codec, but most players don't. To play it on other devices, you'd need to convert it using a program like Goldwave.

Thanks for the help.  I really apprieciate it.  By the way, is there any way to properly use the tech room animations in smarty_Fs2?  They only appear as animated cursor files.

You need ANIVIEW32.  Google it.

I thought VPView 2 came with a built-in ANIVIEW? Meh, he must have the old version.
