Woot! Cool skin!

 Took me a short while but this skin is certainly far better than the older version!!
The old skin is a render-to-texture 2048x2048 skin while the new one is a 1024x1024 res skin. The old skin is 2mb in size while the new one is only 600kb. Though the model was heavily modified to acomidate the new skin the overall difference in polygons is nonexistant. So what do you all think?


I have created a masterpiece.

Looks like a Eartforce One Thunderbolt for me... but then it looks cool :D

Well my ships do take quite a bit of inspiration from B5, mostly because some of their realistic designs. The only other design I could think up is basicly a shoe box :D.

Huh ::), I never saw a hercIII before. Well don't think I copied it.

It doesn't look anything like a Herc MK III.





Looks a lot more like Inferno's Claymore series if you ask me.

Indeed I now know it does look like it, buuut that is completely by coincidence. I never heard of inferno or claymores when I designed and modeled it.

Yea, I agree with Dark Hunter, it does look more like a Claymore. However, I'm not accusing you of copying it, just noting a similarity.

The Claymore is based on the Thunderbolt too though.

It doesn't matter, lots of designs are coincidental as well as based on something, the point is they are all cool....
