I've always wondered, what with Freespace's heritage to the Descent series, why so few models from Descent have been attempted to be put in. I believe I've only seen two tries at a Pyro-GX model, and they were pretty old.

Anyway, movie is good, and I love the remixed Level 2 theme. Makes me wanna hunt down a copy of the PS Descent to hear some more of these songs...

I was thinking the same thing. I've seen a lot of Kuman's stuff in the past, but that soundtrack was great.

there have been a few conversions of the models, and ive been working on some pyros. however theres been no centralised descent mod for freespace. perhaps a few homages, bot no real serious development. really everythings possible except the lighting. doors and powerups may be possible with scripting. levels could be moddeled and some of the weapons can be made. unfortunately anyone thats intrested, self included, are focused on their own projects or simply dont have the time.

I meant conversions of the ships alone... not really the powerups or bots. I'd love to see some of them in action in FS...

Heh, if I ever get around to writing a table for that Pyro, I might at least have that!
