FRED would not access the tables in my data folder, and FRED SCP wouldent access the tables with or without using the MOD line. Restarting my computer fixed the problem.

HOWEVER, I am now having a problem with Shivan ships having wierd maps in Fred 3.6.9. (no red, just grey)

thats because the media vp maps have them grey, and the red is the glowmap.

Ok that makes sense. 

The next FRED should display animated glowmaps in HTL enabled mode.

Yeah, I dont really see why FRED even needs to have spec maps at the moment, since it's... well... a mission editor and not a game. But whatever...

How about a 'show animated glowmaps' under the view thing.

Its just kind of hard to see shivan ships when both them and the backround are all black. In order to see them, i have to turn the brigtness gamma and contrast up until everything else is painful to look at.
