I am but a humble gamer from Norway, and man, does this game bring back memories. My FreeSpace CDs are long gone (shame!), but I remember playing this game on my PII 350mhz, with a voodoo2 card. Complete with an old Logitech force feedback joystick.

Love the story. Love the gameplay. Best space sim ever.

And now, I am playing the game all over again, this time with great graphics and a 3D radar. Awesome work! Thank you so much!

Playing through the campaign for the first time in what, 8 years? Now, figured I'd begin with FS1. And sweet mother of nostalgia, if it isn't good ol' GTD Galatea

Yes, I remember she blows up. But it's still sweet. Nice model too.

You know what'd be cool? Porting FreeSpace to XNA (Xbox 360).  :
