Ok, its seems that GTVA finally decides to decomissed all "Terran Turrets", and reemplace then for more usefull weapons.

Blob turrets are just behind AAA beams in their ability to kill bombs, and since there aren't too many AAA beams, chances are your bombs will get to their target without the blobs... flack doesn't do **** against bombs.

yeah, but i didt not change all blob turrets for flaks... there are Mornirng stars, maxims, prom S, etc...

Which no capship mounts as an anti-bomb weapon. Really, the blobs do their job very well.

Try it first, is hard to get in range to actually fire a bomb. (without trebs)

It's a good idea to create Super Blobs rather than kill all blobs forever. First, is a plasma turret that moves slow and blows caps up, and then there's the faster upgraded anti-bomb and anti-fighter turret, which makes bombing runs very hard.

I think that those SVAS are needed in that ships in exsactly the place where i put then

This thread somehow reminds me of a mission I was FREDding last week - a hero-Aten with two Mjolnir#Home cannons and heavy armour. Intended to snipe Orions from long range maybe... I didn't finalise it.

Something like my old Punisher idea (the Inferno guys will know what I mean )...
