They won't, INF SCP and the next INFA release are standalone mods so they shouldn't be installed over FS2.

Does this apply to Inferno?
ie, would it be helpful to have the Installer point to your setup's .exe file?

We don't use an installer. We use a highly compressed 7-zip archive of the entire INF SCP or INFA folder, to setup for use the launcher just needs to be run.

I can't think of any reason why we couldn't support the installer, but then I can't think of any reason why we'd want to. Inferno will almost undoubtedly be distributed as a complete package - unzip to an empty directory and play.
