We were talking about the planets. I still don't know if they're bitmaps or models.

i guess models. you make a skybox with a flat surface inside, texture the sphere with stars/nebulae and the flat surface with a planet. it gives a nice pop-out look.

My modpack is already done, but I've got a one idea... It can take a week of work... I the results will be good I'll show new pictures. If it won't be good idea I'll return to the old version of MOD and you'll see an Apocalypse III trailer

Never tried something similar. I think that a normal skybox and a normal planet model work fine.

I spy with my little eye - a lot of retextured, but cool loking models

Ashame that FRED blures the textures so much it's hard to see what you actually did with the ships....
