or are the turrets on the medusa and ursa on backwards. cause the turrets on them are placed with the barrel groovs going backwards rather than forward. ive always designed my models with upper turrets pointing forward and underside turrets pointing backwards. but the [v] models seem to be backwards. you never see the barrels in the grooves where they belong. this is most likely a freespace 1 -> 2 conversion oversight. but its been trowing off my turret scripting. in other words i need somone to confirm that this is a [v] screwup :D

[V] mounted loads of turrets backwards. And it can be seen in Hecate and Deimos as well so it aint conversion issue.. just plain screwup.
Do not meddle in the affairs of coders for they are soggy and hard to light

i think it was more to do with max, ive had occasions when using max and then exporting to something else that sometimes parts will change their positions and orientations. as if a local coordinate system wasnt perserved. rather than resetting the rotation to zero, it rotated the object, then converted.
