I just played Deus Ex Machina with MS Sam's voice doing fillers.  Let me tell you I have never been more frustrated in my life than I was listening to Sam drawl out every individual character of the Shivans' leetspeak.  If I here another series of "Backslash slash backslash slash" or "verticalline underscore verticalline" I'm gonna go nuts!!

Anyway, great campaign.  I had a lot of laughs.  Speaking of the ETAK mssion, is there any way to not die of "Unknown Causes" or is that the informal end to the campaign?

So far I've completed the Aeos Affair, Transcend and (afaik) DEM.

It's one end.  You're a red-shirt, after all.

Assuming you rescued the Iceni, you have to quickly hit Alt-J, Escape, and Alt-J again to complete the campaign successfully.

well, I've turned cheats on, made the Iceni Invulnrable, the 4 cains and 2 rakshasas come in, I use cheats to kill the cains (force weapons to Shivan Super Laser, deactivate Invulnrability on them and blast em), and make the iceni invulnrable, and I kill both the rakshasas when they're no longer invulnrable per the mission, then the Iceni tells me to plot a course for them, but no matter where I am when I press 1 they always say "there's no room to maneuver we're all gonna die!!!" and I lose.

P.S. they're not surrounded anymore once I blast the cains and rakshasas with SSL's... =P

OK.  So I plot out a vertical escape course, they tell me i'm brilliant, warp out, and no matter whne I do, whether it's before the Iceni gets all the way out and I get the "come home" message, or while it's still  warping out, or even before it warps out, whenever I hit alt+J, my ship explodes due to "Unknown Causes."  Is that supposed to happen?
