EDIT: oh crap!! I forgot I hate electric cellos!! I guess I'll just stick to the Baritone Saxaphone version I made with my freinds.

I mean... uh... I'd stick to my version anyway... yeah... I sure didn't download path illigaly and listen to it. Nope. never.

Let me get this right... in one thread you're thumping a certain book... while in another thread you're asking for how to pirate music.

Does anyone see the complete and total logical... nay moral inconsistency here?

Or is it just me who expects a rational universe where people practice what they preach?

function IsCharismatic() {
if (Christians == Music_Pirates)
     return true;
}

Does this mean music pirating is no longer kvlt? :(

No no...I used to expect that sort of thing but most of my faith in the human race has been removed.  It seems like most people seem to set their moral compass where ever it will serve them best at the time.  It'd be really nice if everyone focused on being honourable and true to their word.

Do you know what the entire basis of capitalism is? People acting for their own benefit, all of the time, no matter what. As a balance, the government is there to make sure you don't lie or steal too much. Apparently, it hangs together all right.
Interestingly enough, this signature is none of the following:
A witty remark on whatever sad state of affairs the world may or may not be in
A series of localized forum in-jokes
A clever and self-referential comment on the nature of signatures themselves.

I thought we had all convinced ourselves that it wasn't morally wrong to pirate music since the RIAA are a bunch of greedy buggers, and/or "I wouldn't buy it anyway," and/or "If I like it I'll buy the cd." ?

Well I have-- I dunno about anyone else.

Actually, in all seriousness, piracy is useless for most of the music I listen to.

Same for me, mostly.  The music I listen to is either free, or me playing in it so it's still free.

Oh thats fine if they're willing to admit it.  I'm willing to tolerate a fair bit if people are honest, sometimes even brutally so.  At least you know where they are.  But inconsistency and double standards are what Ace and I are on about.

Back on toipc?

I havent found Baritone Saxaphone, and that link (http://www.sigur-ros.co.uk/media/) i could not find out wtf it was saying. When i googled Baidu it had some weird links. Can anyone PM the links if they dont wish to publicly post it?

YourMP3 seemd to be fine, and i found a few others from there. Tho full ambums seem to be crazy hard to get, and the few bands im looking for i cannot find anywhere. Alta vista was interesting.

Isn't there also that Russian site that has been in the news alot recently?
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside

allofmp3.com

They're selling full albums for, if I remember correctly, $1.00. There was/is a whole big thing about whether it's legal or not, but I think for the moment you would be safe using it. Their arguement is that what they're doing is perfectly legal in Russia, and other countries are kind of a grey area, which has worked so far because the Russian government didn't want to bother cracking down on them. Then the RIAA pressured the US government, who pressured the US government, and now the future is uncertain.

I havent found Baritone Saxaphone

If you're looking for what I was talking about earlier, you won't find it on the internet. A couple of my friends transposed path to key of E flat and then we played it on four Baris (holy crap they were hard to find) and recorded it. I personally don't have a good recording, but if you are interested (and if this post wasn't a waste) when I get a better version I could post it here.

Meanwhile, here is my current version. I hope the link works
